Oran Muduroglu, CEO, Healthcare Informatics
Oran Muduroglu is Philips Medical Systems' CEO, Healthcare Informatics and one of Stentor's co-founders. Previously, Mr. Muduroglu served as Stentor's President and Chief Operating Officer from February 2004 to October 2005, and as Chief Executive Officer from December 1998 to February 2004. Prior to Stentor, Mr. Muduroglu was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cemax-Icon, Inc., a vendor of original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, software for medical imaging and medical image processing that was subsequently acquired by Imation Corp. From January 1988 to January 1991, Mr. Muduroglu was a Product Manager at Toshiba America Medical Systems, a developer of CAT scanners. Mr. Muduroglu received a B.S. in Engineering from King's College, London University.
Wim Vaatstra, COO, Healthcare Informatics
Wim Vaatstra is the COO for Philips Medical Systems' Healthcare Informatics Business Group. Mr. Vaatstra has made significant contributions to various product divisions and corporate departments of Philips during his 23-year tenure and has been stationed in Europe, Asia and the United States. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management and IT for Philips Medical Systems from September 2003 to February 2006. Mr. Vaatstra received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Groningen, Netherlands, and an Executive M.B.A. from the Technical University Eindhoven and the Katholic University Brabant, Netherlands.
Tom Andriola, General Manager, BU Radiology Informatics
Tom Andriola is Philips Medical Systems' General Manager for the Radiology Informatics business unit. Mr. Andriola has held several management positions since joining Philips in 2001, including most recently as VP, Information Technology. Prior to Philips, Mr. Andriola was Chief Information Officer at Marconi PLC and held several management positions in technology consulting. Mr. Andriola received a B.S. from George Washington University and an M.S. from University of South Florida.
Tim Kleckner, CFO, BU Healthcare Informatics
Tim Kleckner brings more than twenty years of financial expertise to the company. Mr. Kleckner has held executive level finance positions in three separate product divisions since joining Philips in 1992. From 2000 to August 2005, he served as Vice President Finance at Philips Semiconductors in San Jose, California. Mr. Kleckner also served as VP Finance for Philips Consumer Electronics Division at the Silicon Valley Research Center from 1998 to 2000; VP Finance and Operations for Philips Lighting's Business Group Lighting Electronics from 1994 to 1998; and CFO of Electronics Ballast Technology, Inc. from 1990 to 1994. Mr. Kleckner received a B.A. in Financial Administration from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Matthew Long, General Manager, Global Sales & Service, North America
Matthew Long is Philips Medical Systems' General Manager for Healthcare Informatics, Global Sales and Service, North America. Previously, Mr. Long served as Stentor's Vice President of Sales and Marketing from June 2000 to August 2005. From March 1999 to May 2000, Mr. Long was Vice President of Marketing at Cemax-Icon, Inc., a PACS, company owned by Eastman Kodak Company. Prior to that Mr. Long held several management positions with Cemax-Icon, including: European Business Manager, Director of Marketing and Product Manager. Mr. Long received a B.S. from the University of Santa Clara.
Ton van den Hoven, General Manager, Global Sales & Service, International
Ton van den Hoven brings over fifteen years of imaging and related experience to Philips. He has worn many hats throughout his career at Philips in technical sales, sales management, business development, customer operations, and product development. Prior to Philips, Mr. van den Hoven was the European Business Manager for Cemax-Icon, where he created strong medical imaging across Europe and developed a support organization that covered sales, marketing, project management, and customer service. Prior to Cemax, Mr. van den Hoven was co-owner of Icon Medical Systems Europe BV where he established a dealer network throughout Europe and grew Sales.
John Huffman, Senior Fellow
John Huffman is one of our co-founders. Mr. Huffman has served as our Senior Fellow since December 1998. From July 1995 to October 1998, he served as Engineering Department Manager and Medical Market Manager of the Corporate Research and Development Group of Silicon Graphics, Inc., a provider of computing, storage and visualization technology. Mr. Huffman was a co-founder and from December 1987 to January 1995 served as Chief Technology Officer of Aware, Inc., a developer of image and video compression systems. From February 1986 to December 1987, Mr. Huffman worked in the artificial intelligence groups at Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation, a research and development consortium, and from September 1982 to February 1986, worked at Thinking Machines Corporation, a scalable computer design and parallel software development company. Mr. Huffman received a B.A. from the University of Chicago.
John Harris, Sr. Director, Engineering
John Harris has served as our Director of Engineering since January 2005. From April 1998 to January 2005, Mr. Harris was Director of Technology at Sapient Corporation. At Sapient, Mr. Harris ran the Globalization practice, was the technology lead for their Learning Services group, and worked in the technology and communications group as well as the healthcare group. Prior to that, Mr. Harris held technical positions at IBM Global Services, HFC Bank, Nottingham City Hospital Trust, and the British Geological Survey.
Jonathan Reis, Software Architect
Jonathan Reis is one of our co-founders. Mr. Reis has served as our Chief Software Architect since September 2002 and as our Director of Engineering from December 1998 to September 2002. From August 1992 to December 1998, Mr. Reis served as the engineering project manager for Cemax-Icon Inc., a vendor of OEM software for medical imaging and medical image processing that was subsequently acquired by Imation Corp. Previously, Mr. Reis held the position of product manager for sales and marketing at 3M. Mr. Reis received a B.E.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario and an M.E.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario.
